School day blues......

Wow!! I am NOT looking forward to tomorrow!!! I havent been able to stop crying all day. everytime I think about Nellie being at school all day I loose it!!! You'd think Im never going to see her again, its crazy! Im sure she will have so much fun. She told me that she probably wouldnt ever want to come home again because she would have so much fun. I laughed...then she left the room and....I cryed. To bad I cant blame my emotions on pregnancy anymore. I dont like the thought of her being at ALL day kindergarten in a portable in the very back of the school. The bathroom is SOOOO far away from her classroom that her teacher told us to pack an extra pair of pants and panties. Im sure that in about 3 weeks I will be fine and she will be fine I just dred the thought of leaving her tomorrow and not being able to go into her classroom with her. I CANT let her see me cry. I AM SUCH A BOOB!!!!

She is such a pretty girl! Jadyn started all day Kindergarten on Wednesday, but they had a bathroom in her class, how silly that they have it so far away. The day goes by a lot quicker than you think, but I totally understand how you feel. Once they are in school, they are in school FOREVER! Where did those baby days go? And having another baby doesn't make that feeling go away, because you want your oldest to be a baby again, not just have another baby. We want them to always be comforted and sheltered by us, but it sounds like you are a great mom, and no matter what happens, she will be happy to come home to you, especially once she figures out that school is a drag!

I know what you mean Shelbi. I wish parents had the choice of 1/2 or full day kindergarten. They are still sooo little at that age. I bet Nellie-Lyn will love it though. And look at it like this, you get a little one-on-one time with Cora. And maybe time for an occasional nap :-) I'm not one to talk from experience though. My oldest, Sy, is going to be 4 in October but I know the all day kindergarten freaks me out too! Let me know how you cope with it so I can prepare myself.

I can't believe that is already tomorrow! I'm sure you will do fine...you will probably get a little bored! :) I will call and check up on you on my breaks and lunches just to make sure you are surviving.

Wow...good luck Shelb! I worked in an all day kind. class and those kids learn so much and have so much fun. She will do great! Even though its a long day, I think all day kind. is a lot more productive for those kids...they just learn so much more than the 1/2 day kiddos. Not that she already isn't a smart one! HAVE FUN NELLIE!

I hope you get thru it! That would be so hard. All day is so long. Oh my!!
I haven't been a good blogger lately, so I had a lot of catching up to do! Your girls are too cute! I hope your all doing good.
The story from your doctor is scary, but like you said... you are thankful for him. I finally went to my Doctor. He is so good, too. (Dr. Huish.. he's related to my husband) I am so thankful to have him!!
Your oldest looks so much like you with her hair down! CUTE!!

Shelbi- My little one is almost 4 and I have been dreading the whole school thing for the past few years and she has not even started Preschool yet! Even though I have a while before I have to go through this I am dreading the day! I HATE that most schools are going to all day kindergarten! They are so young still and once they start school they are in forever! I will be thinking of you! -Shiloh
