My family...

So...I thought Id give this Blog thing a try, Im probably going to do it wrong but...thats ok! I have been married for almost 6 years to Denver Whittaker and we have 2 little girls. Nellie is almost 5 years and Cora is almost 5 weeks. Nellie will be starting Kindergarten in Aug. and I can NOT belive it!!! I am really going to miss her!!! She will be in all day kidergarten and I dont know how I feel about that. She is such a funny girl and comes up with the funniest things!! She keeps me on my toes! Cora was born on June 9th, She was born 2 months early by emergency C-section due to some preeclampsia problems. She was 2lbs 9oz and 16 inces long. She was able to come home on July 3rd. She was not on oxygen and did not have any major problems. She came home weighing 3lbs 10oz. The NICU doctor told us that she is the smallest to ever leave. It is alot of fun having her home! We tried for 4 years to have another baby and had 4 misscariages during that time. I really feel blessed to have 2 beautifull girls!! I have to keep telling myself that at 3:00 in the morning when Cora is up and screeming, she has her days and nights mixed up. But she is worth all the sleepless nights!!!

Isn't that the truth? It is so hard to get up in the middle of the night, but then I think about when she was in the NICU and I didn't get to be with her during the night and how hard it was for me to leave her to come home and go to bed with the rest of our family. I'm so happy she is home now, but I do wish she would sleep like 15 hours a night so I could sleep 15 hours a night. HAHA

Umm you have to go to customize, then to layout, then add a page element and its the one that says lists or something like that. then you name it friends or whatever and add the url and the new name underneath it. does that make sense? try it and if it doesn't...well hmmm you could call me or something haha

Hey my long lost best friend. I am SOOOOO HAPPY you are doing the blog thing. Maybe now we both will be better at keeping in touch. I MISS YOU!!! I am so glad your beautiful little girl is doing good. I saw your dad at church like the day or day after you had Cora. I wanted to come and see you but I felt I was over stepping my boundaries with her being so premature and I am sure you had a lot going on seeing her in the nicu and stuff. I think about you and your family so often wondering how you are doing and it is great to see your girls and know that you are doing well. I am sure you are enjoying every minute with that cute baby girl. And it is so crazy that Nellie is going to be in kindergarten. I really am excited to look at your blog and become aquainted again. Take care
Love Ya
Jenny

Shelbi- First off, I am so glad that you left a comment, so I could stalk you down. HA!!
I was with Jenny when your dad showed her the pictures of your TINY little girl. I am still staring at my hands trying to understand that she is really that small. AMAZING, I am so glad she is doing good. All though I have not seen or heard from you ina long time, I tell people that you just had a really tiny little girl. I am very impressed with the story! wink. (OH, & I am so jeleous that you are in a ward with 2 of my sisters.)
I did not know you only had 2 kids, & that you had lots of problems inbetween. Did you go to a special doctor, or how did it finally happen? I gotta know! you are inspiring.
I'll add you to my list to keep up on your fun life!
